California's Contemporary Landscape Artist
Ann Rea is a nationally noted San Francisco based artist whose mission is to "savor the colors of the moment."
The soulful truth that inspires Rea's painting is that for over seven years she completely abandoned art only to develop chronic anxiety, a preoccupation with the future, and depression, a fixation on the past. To still her mind she began painting again as an active meditation.
Ann Rea now remains present by expressing color, reflecting in moments of light, where she experiences peace and happiness.
Ann Rea has a deep capacity for serious and sustained work. She is keen to share this talent.

We are so happy. Although we knew Robert Rauschenberg (American art Legacy) and know some other contemporary artists, we have only collected prior works of art. This has been special in many ways.
- Sandi Moran (patron & president of Naples Chaîne des Rôtisseurs)
