Wetland Oil Paintings
San Francisco based artist Ann Rea's wetland paintings are inspired by a number of wetlands in Yolo County, California.
It was not so much a particular view of these wetlands that moves Rea to create her colorful wetland oil paintings.
Rea draws inspiration from a sense of place, the light casting and shadows forming at a particular time,
inviting art collectors to "savor the colors of a moment."
Ann Rea is reviving the tradition of the French Impressionists, with a contemporary point of view.
Winemakers take her on a tour of their vineyards where she actually plants her easel to capture the colors as they change with the seasons.
Oil paintings that measure 8" x 10" to 9" x 12" to are elegantly framed in a seamless matte black finish, designed with universal simplicity, ready to hang in any decor.
You will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing the provenance of your painting.
Select from the very best of Ann's field studies, painted in over a dozen wine regions,
and commission her to explore her naturally inspired colors on larger custom sized canvases.
Serious collectors of original oil paintings are welcome to schedule a studio appointment.
Monday through Friday, from 10:00AM-5:00PM.
