Just as Monet painted water lilies in his garden and then returned to his studio to explore and refine these images on a larger scale. Ann does field studies in the natural landscape and then returns to her Pacific Beach studio to create larger renditions on custom canvases. Each of her originals is a unique exploration.
Ann even uses the same oil pigments that Van Gough used from Old Holland Oil Works established in 1664. Her subjects, always inspired by nature, could include your clients' vineyards, private gardens, colorful contemporary still life, or charcoal sketches on fine Arches French watercolor paper.
